Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
At Chamak Pataka, we take great care in packaging and quality-checking every order. As our products are fashion jewellery and personal-use accessories, please review this policy carefully before placing an order.
Order Cancellation
Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled [after 24 hours], modified [after 24 hours], or refunded.
In case of a cancellation request within 24 hours of placing an order, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee ranging between 10-15% of the order amount depending upon the order size.
In case of a modification request within 24 hours of placing an order, the customer is to send an email at hello@chamakpataka.com with the Order ID, details of the product ordered [details like product name and quantity] and details of the product they want to modify to [details like product name and quantity].
Returns & Exchanges
We do not offer returns or exchanges for any products.
Please review product descriptions, dimensions, materials, and images carefully before making a purchase.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds will only be considered in the following cases:
- Incorrect product received
- Product received in damaged condition
- Missing item(s) from the order
To be eligible for a refund, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Mandatory Package Opening Video
A complete, continuous package opening video is mandatory for all refund claims.
The video must:
- Start before the package is opened
- Clearly show the sealed package and shipping label
- Continue without cuts, edits, or interruptions
- Clearly show the contents received
Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video will not be eligible for review or refund.
Refund Process
If a claim is approved after verification, the refund will be processed to the original payment method used during checkout.
Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days, although actual credit timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Change of mind
- Personal preference or dissatisfaction with design
- Minor colour or finish variations caused by photography, lighting, screen settings, or handcrafted production
- Incorrect orders placed by the customer
- Claims submitted without the mandatory unboxing video
- Requests made after 48 hours from delivery
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, are non-refundable.
